SSHRI has a brand new, state-of-the-art Haemodialysis unit (opened on 14th October 2019). With two separate and isolated units for Positive & Negative patients, the brand-new unit is designed to provide the best quality dialysis in the region. Our unit operates 16 machines, with expansion room for more. A new RO water purification unit has also been established to keep up with the upgraded standards of SSHRI’s Nephrology Department. We are proud to mention that our’s is the only unit in the entire town to have a full-time Consultant Nephrologist, a practice we have maintained since 2007. 

With approximately 950 dialysis per month, we are one of the leading providers of haemodialysis in the entire North-East. 

We also have facilities for Kidney Biopsy, Central Venous Access, A. V. Fistula surgery.
