The Department of Nephrology commenced operations in December 2007, with Dr. Basant Kr. Sharma, M.D., DNB (Nephro), as full-time Senior Consultant Nephrologist, with daily OPD. At present, we treat all kidney ailments, and provide Hemodialysis treatment, under his direct supervision. At present, we do more than 950 dialysis treatments per month, and are the only hospital in Dibrugarh providing dialysis under a Consultant Nephrologist.
