The Department of Neurosurgery commenced operations in January 2008, with full-time Senior Consultant Neurosurgeon Dr. Minhaj Momin (Ex-Neurosurgeon, Medanta Medicity Hospital, Delhi), with OPD everyday.

The Department has a state-of-the-art Neurosurgery Operation Theatre, an 18 bedded Stroke & Trauma Care ICU, as well as a Stroke Rehabilitation & Neuro Physiotherapy Unit. The Department operates 24 hours, with full-time Resident doctors and well-trained staff nurses, maintaining a 1:1 patient: staff ratio.
